The Newport In Port Race is the fourth event in the In-Port Race series for The Ocean Race 2022-23.
Racing is scheduled to start at 2:10pm local time (1810 UTC / 2010 CEST)
The hometown crew on board 11th Hour Racing Team currently lead the series after winning the most recent race in Itajaí.
In addition to being a competition in its own right, the In-Port Race series also serves as the tie-breaking mechanism on the overall race leaderboard.

The weather forecast for Saturday is for strong, gusty winds and rain showers – not ideal. But if the wind remains within a safe range for racing, we can expect racing to start on time.
